A young Kris as photographed by Clark Lubbs.
Kris Scheppe wants to sail around the world, dispite the fact that he's legally Blind. I call that an adventurous spirit!
But I already knew that Kris had Exploration in mind when he came aboard the RV Discoverer as a crew member years ago. His disability didnt stop him from working as a diver ( hull cleaning too!) and equipment technician, plus his specialty, IT.
Before long Kris had launched his own project, Blind Circumnavigation, and has been working doggedly to make that happen since.
Dispite his busy schedule running his own tech bisuness, Kris still finds time to help us out by managing our social media for this site, which is greatly appreciated!
