After attending a Symposium on water polution issues hosted by Ken Hayes of  Aqua Survey, Inc. with our friend (and Key Note Speaker ) Astronaut Rick Linnehan, we decided to pop in to the Explorers Club  in NYC for the wednesday night mixer and let me tell you, it was a blast.

After catching up ith old friends like Tim Taylor and making new ones like Christine, I was briefly exposed to the incindiary presence of artist, conservationist, and human dynamo Asher Jay. Her program  Garbagea strikes right at the heart of  ocean pollution issues and awareness, and I was automatically a fan.
