Franck Goddio and his team have been together for more than 20 years and have made amazing discoveries in Cuba, Philippines, Myanmar, etc.
I think most adults today are subtily aware that a team of French divers, roaming the world making fascinating underwater discoveries under the direction of a passionate leader, is a thing that ought to exist.
That was my perspective when I met Francks team in Cuba , introduced by team member Sue Hendrickson ( of T-Rex fame) I was amazed to find out that such a team existed in reality, and a little surprised that I hadnt known about them before.
Now that i managed to sneak my way onto the team, and 20 years have passed and we have had adventures and discoveries and grown up and older as a team, with occasional passings and occasional new blood, I am still fascinated that such a team exists, and with a perspective as the sole american, am absolutely convinced that everyone else should be fascinated that they exist too.
So thats what I'll be blogging about for the next few weeks'.
