 Eric VIsits Deserted Island. In mid winter, Governors Island abandoned, yet this close to Lower Manhattan. The recent discovery of a potentially explosive cannonball from the Civil War on Governors Island prompted a visit and investigation to see if there was something for future visitors to worry about.
